Ford Chosen as Ivy League Player of the Week

Hitting .667 during a four-game weekend, Princeton sophomore designated player Karis Ford was voted by the league's coaches as the Ivy League Player of the Week.
Ford had two two-hit games and had at least one hit in all four games on the weekend. On the way to rolling up an OPS of 2.256, Ford had a triple and two homers to slug 1.556 and added a walk for a .700 on-base percentage, striking out just once.Â
Ford was the Most Outstanding Player of the 2024 Ivy League Tournament last year as a rookie.
Ford and the Tigers are away from competition this weekend and will return to play Feb. 27 at Texas A&M.
