
Women’s Tennis Advances To ECAC Championships Semifinals

PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- The Princeton women's tennis team kicked off the ECAC Championships with a 4-1 win over the Cornell Big Red.
The Tigers came out of the gate ready to roll, quickly picked up the doubles point. Bella Chhiv and Alice Ferlito dominated in a 6-1 victory with Maren Urata and Eva Elbaz following that up with a 6-2 win for the point.
Yichen Zhao earned the first singles win for Princeton, 6-3, 6-1, to keep things moving along. Alice Ferlito took her match with a score of 6-4, 6-2 and Tsehay Driscoll closed the door on Cornell with a 6-4, 6-3 victory.
Princeton will face the tournament's No. 5 seed Yale Bulldogs tomorrow at 2:00 PM.
