Dr. Barry Davis Joins Baseball As Assistant Coach

Head Coach Scott Bradley and the Princeton baseball team welcomed Dr. Barry Davis to the coaching staff following a run of excellence at multiple levels of college baseball.
Dr. Barry Davis has joined the Princeton baseball program as an assistant coach. Davis comes to Princeton following a 20-year head coaching stint at Rider University where he compiled more than 480 wins with the Broncs from 2004-2024. In his 35-year head coaching career, Davis accumulated 1,026 wins and helped numerous players enter the realm of professional baseball.
As Rider's head coach, Davis led the Broncs to four Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference tournament titles, two regular season championships and an opening round win over #10 Coastal Carolina in the 2023 Conway Regional.
Most recently, Rider went 28-23 highlighted by a 6-2 victory over then-ranked No. 6 Duke. The Broncs went on to reach the MAAC Championships to wrap up the year.
"I'm thrilled to have the opportunity Coach Bradley and his staff have given me," Davis said. "I look forward to assisting in the program's pursuit of an Ivy League championship."

"Coach Barry Davis is a Hall of Fame coach who led Rider to the edge of the NCAA Super Regionals a few years ago! Dr Barry Davis also has earned an advanced degree in Leadership Studies! We will all benefit from having him in our baseball program!"
