Yelensky Scores Six Times As No.11 Women's Water Polo Drops No. 23 Pomona-Pitzer, 14-5

CLAREMONT, Calif. – Kayla Yelensky scored six times as the No. 11 Princeton Women's Water Polo Team dropped the No. 23 Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens, 14-5, at Haldemann Pool on Wednesday evening.
After Pomona-Pitzer recorded the first goal of the game, the Tigers scored five straight times and held a 5-1 lead at halftime.
Like the first half, the Sagehens started off the scoring in the third quarter before the Tigers ripped off five consecutive tallies to go up 10-2 with 3:04 left in the frame. The Tigers were never threatened the rest of the way.
Yelensky's six tallies led the Tigers while Charlotte Riches also contributed a hat trick and Lindsey Lucas made 10 saves in the win.
Princeton will take on No. 4 UCLA Thursday at 4 p.m. ET (1 p.m. PT) at the Spieker Aquatics Center.
