No. 11 Women's Water Polo Continues Spring Break Trip This Week

LOS ANGELES - The No. 11 Princeton Women's Water Polo Team continues its Spring Break trip this week with two contests before heading to the San Diego State Invitational.
Princeton will take on No. 23 Pomona-Pitzer on Wednesday at 7 p.m. (4 p.m. PT) before taking on No. 4 UCLA on Thursday (1 p.m. PT).
Head coach Derek Ellingson's crew then makes the trip to San Diego for the San Diego State Invitational. Princeton battles No. 2 USC (3 p.m., 12 p.m. PT) and No. 20 San Diego State (6:30 p.m., 3 p.m. PT) on Friday along with CSUN (11 a.m. 8 a.m. PT) and No. 15 Indiana (3 p.m., 12 p.m. PT) on Saturday.
Rachael Carver paces the Tigers in scoring with 42 points, adding 18 goals and a team-best 24 assists. She set a new career high with five tallies as Princeton rebounded from an 8-6 deficit with four minutes to go to drop No. 12 LMU. Carver leads the program with 234 assists in her career.
Kayla Yelensky tops the squad with 35 goals, giving her 219 in her career, good for sixth all-time. The Tigers have four players with at least 10 goals and 12 players with at least five. Lindsey Lucas has a .566 save percentage in 11 starts in the cage.
The Tigers are 9-2 overall and 4-1 in the CWPA with ranked wins over No. 22 Wagner, No. 21 Brown, No. 15 UC Santa Barbara, No. 16 Michigan and No. 12 LMU.
