Women's Water Polo Hosts Iona Wednesday

PRINCETON – The No. 12 Princeton Women's Water Polo Team takes on the Iona Gaels on Wednesday at DeNunzio Pool at 6:30 p.m.
Princeton is currently 12-5 overall and 4-1 in the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA). The Tigers are just coming off their Spring Break trip out on the West Coast, earning victories over No. 12 LMU, No. 23 Pomona-Pitzer and No. 20 San Diego State.
Kayla Yelensky paces the Tigers with 58 goals while adding 26 drawn ejections. She has 242 tallies in her career which places her fifth in program history, 30 shy of the second place Elyse Colgan '07. The senior has scored in every game, recording 13 hat tricks this season.
Rachael Carver is second on the team in scoring with 25 goals and 35 assists while Shanna Davidson is third, collecting 23 goals and 22 helpers. Ava Houlahan is tied for second on the team in goals with 25. Princeton has 10 players with at least 10 tallies in 2025.
Lindsey Lucas is 12-5 in the cage with a .550 save percentage and 164 stops this season.
Iona is 5-10 this season and are led by Vanessa McNabb (29 goals) and Lola Trujillo (24 goals) in scoring.
