Kayla Yelensky Earns CWPA Player of the Week

PRINCETON – Kayla Yelensky collected Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Player of the Week honors for the second time this season.
The senior captain registered 23 goals in the Tigers' six games last week. She scored six times in a 14-5 win over No. 23 Pomona-Pitzer before collecting a hat trick at No. 4 UCLA. The senior also scored vs. No. 2 USC before five tallies vs. No. 20 San Diego State and No. 15 Indiana. She also scored another hat trick vs. CSUN.
Yelensky leads the Tigers with 58 goals this season and has earned CWPA weekly honors eight times in her career. The attacker has 242 tallies in her career which places her fifth in program history, 30 shy of the second place Elyse Colgan '07. The senior has scored in every game, recording 13 hat tricks this season.
Princeton takes on Iona at DeNunzio Pool Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
