No. 11 Women's Water Polo Drops Saint Francis, 14-8

ANN ARBOR – The No. 11 Princeton Women's Water Polo Team finished off the CWPA weekend with a 14-8 takedown of the Saint Francis Red Flashes on Sunday morning at Canham Natatorium.
After exchanging goals, Princeton ripped off three straight goals and eventually led 5-2 after the first quarter. The Tigers maintained their three-goal advantage at halftime, 7-4.
Head coach Derek Ellingson's crew put the contest away with six straight goals out of the break to go in front, 13-4. Saint Francis never got within five the rest of the way.
The Tigers have won five of six since returning from the Spring Break trip and will clinch the No. 1 seed in the CWPA Tournament with a victory over Bucknell next Saturday (Apr. 12).
Shanna Davidson and Rachael Carver led the Tigers with hat tricks. Lindsey Lucas added eight saves in 16 minutes of work.
