PRINCETON, N.J. – Greg Foster and Jason Vigilante received USTFCCCA Mid-Atlantic Regional honors as the organization announced their indoor track and field regional awards on Thursday.
Foster was named the Mid-Atlantic Men's Field Athlete of the Year, while Vigilante was named the Mid-Atlantic Men's Head Coach of the Year.
Foster earned the award after an impressive season that saw him win his third-straight Ivy League Indoor Championship title in the long jump. The junior went on to place 10th and earn Second Team All-America honors in the event, jumping 7.45m/24-5.5".
At the Navy Princeton dual in January, Foster jumped a season best 7.83m/25-8.25" - his eventual NCAA seed time.
Foster also represented Princeton at the prestigious Millrose Games on February 8th, taking eighth place in the 60mH with a time of 7.99. He also took eighth in the long jump at the USA Indoor National Championships with a mark of 7.58m/24-10.5".
A two-time NCAA qualifier, the regional award adds to a list of accolades for Foster as he looks to earn even more this outdoor season.
Also adding to an already-long list of accomplishments, Vigilante was named Mid-Atlantic Region Coach of the Year for the second-consecutive time after earning the honor in both the indoor and outdoor seasons last year. Vigilante also earned the award following last year's cross country season.
The 2025 Ivy League Indoor Coach of the Year, Vigilante continues a year that saw Princeton claim its 10th consecutive indoor Ivy League Championship, scoring in all but two events while clinching the title by 85 points.
The performance also follows up a standout 2024 cross country season that ended with a fourth-consecutive Ivy title and Coach of the Year award for Vigilante.
Including Foster, Vigilante sent two individuals and a DMR squad to the NCAA Championships in Virginia Beach, with the Tigers finishing 10th in each event.
With two championships already won this year, Vigilante, Foster and the Tigers will seek their second-consecutive and 12th all-time Triple Crown as they embark on the outdoor season with the Penn Challenge this Saturday.
