Brad Hunt Named Mid-Atlantic Assistant Coach of the Year

PRINCETON, N.J. – Brad Hunt was named the USTFCCCA Mid-Atlantic Women's Assistant Coach of the Year, the organization announced Thursday.
Hunt, a distance specialist, helped Princeton win the 2025 Indoor Ivy League Championship title, the program's first since 2011.
The Tigers scored in every event to win the title by eight points. In turn, Princeton was named Ivy League Coaching Staff of the Year.
Hunt also worked closely with senior Mena Scatchard, who represented Princeton at the indoor NCAA Championships last weekend. She went on to become the national runner-up in the mile.
The Mid-Atlantic Assistant Coach of the Year award is Hunt's second of his career, after he was given the honor following the 2022 indoor season too.
Hunt is having a standout year for his career, after he led Princeton to its first cross country Ivy Championship since 2015 this Fall. He earned Ivy League Coach of the Year honors for the feat, which marked his first Ivy title since becoming the cross country head coach at Princeton.
With a cross country title and an indoor title under their belt, Hunt, the Princeton coaching staff and the Tigers will seek its third all-time Triple Crown as they begin the outdoor season this Saturday with the Penn Challenge.
