No. 12 Women's Water Polo Opens Spring Break Trip at No. 12 LMU

PRINCETON – The No. 12 Princeton Women's Water Polo Team begins their Spring Break trip at No. 12 Loyola Marymount Lions on Saturday. The contest will begin at 9 p.m. ET and 6 p.m. PT.

The Tigers are 8-2 overall and 4-1 in the CWPA, currently on a four-game winning streak. Head coach Derek Ellingson's group has wins over No. 22 Wagner, No. 21 Brown, No. 15 UC Santa Barbara and No. 16 Michigan.

Kayla Yelensky leads the team in scoring with 40 points, adding a team-best 34 goals. Rachael Carver paces the squad with 24 assists and won the CWPA Player of the Week two weeks ago for the fourth time in her career. Princeton has 11 players with at least five goals and four with at least 10 or more tallies. Lindsey Lucas is 8-2 this season in the net with a .570 save percentage.

Following the LMU game, Princeton will take on No.23 Pomona-Pitzer on Wednesday before a contest against No. 4 UCLA on Thursday. The Tigers finish their West Coast trip at the San Diego State Invite (Mar. 14-15).
