Several Tigers Set New PRs on Day One of 44 Farms Invitational

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS – The Princeton men's track and field team began competition at the 44 Farms Team Invitational, hosted by Texas A&M, on Friday. Several Tigers set new personal bests as the Tigers had a strong showing on day one of the two-day meet.
Chris Paige set a new personal record in the 400 hurdles, running 50.81 for fourth place. His time puts him at third all-time in the Princeton records.
Nick Molloy also set a personal best in the pole vault, clearing 5.15m/16-10.75" for second place at the meet.
Casey Helm also earned silver with a mark of 60.03/196-11" in the discus. Avery Shunneson also threw a season-best 56.76/186-3" in the event.
Greg Foster took fourth place in the long jump with a mark of 7.65/25-1.25".
Asher Robbins threw a season-best 62.05m/203-7" for eighth place in the hammer throw.
In the 200, Joey Gant took thirteenth with a time of 20.90, while Jackson Clarke came in 14th with a season best time of 20.93.
Phil Kastner won the decathlon shot put with a mark of 14.17m/46-6". He stands in 19th place in the decathlon with five events scored.
The Tigers will continue competition at the 44 Farms Invite tomorrow, with the action beginning with the multis at 11:20 a.m. central time.
