Completing a series sweep of Cornell with Monday's 8-0 win, the Princeton softball team will return home for next weekend's series with Columbia with an 11-1 record in the Ivy League and a three-game lead over Dartmouth.

Princeton scored twice in each of its first two at bats to take a 4-0 lead. Sonia Zhang's walk, Lauren Sablone's single and Karis Ford's single loaded the bases for an Allison Ha sacrifice fly before a throwing error on the play allowed Sablone to score for the 2-0 lead. In the second inning, a Zhang two-run homer followed a Lauren Pappert single to push the lead to 4-0.

The lead became 5-0 in the fourth with walks to Jessica Phelps and Allie Goodwin preceded an error off the bat of Braeden Hale, and in the seventh, the Tigers added three runs on the way to the 8-0 finish. A walk to Graciela Dominguez, an Abby Hornberger base hit and a walk to Sablone loaded the bases for a Ha walk to push in a run, and Phelps had a two-run single for the final runs.

In the circle, Brielle Wright went six innings, striking out six while allowing three hits and two runs before Cassidy Shaw closed it out with two strikeouts in the seventh.
