No. 10 Women's Water Polo Earns Three CWPA Weekly Honors

PRINCETON – The No. 10 Princeton Women's Water Polo team had three members earn Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) weekly honors.
Kayla Yelensky collected Co-Player of the Week (Saint Francis' Georgia Ellison) as she registered four goals as the Tigers dropped Bucknell, 14-8 on Saturday. With her four tallies, she is up to 269 in her career, third most in program history as the Tigers clinched the No. 1 seed in the CWPA Tournament. It's the fourth time this season, the senior captain has earned Player of the Week and eighth time overall.
Lindsey Lucas corralled CWPA Defensive Player of the Week as she posted seven saves in the 14-8 victory over Bucknell. Lucas also added a steal and a goal in the decision. It's the second time this campaign that Lucas has nabbed this honor and 17th time overall.
Kendall Wyer was selected as CWPA Rookie of the Week as she posted two assists in the Bucknell contest. It's the second time she was picked for the award.
Princeton takes on No. 18 Wagner Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at DeNunzio Pool.
