Women's Golf Extends Leads Entering Final Day Of Ivy League Championship

Princeton takes a 14-shot lead into the final round of the 2025 Ivy League Championship at Royal Palm Golf Club in Naples, Fla. after shooting -3 as a team in the second round.
The Tigers were ahead by three shots entering the middle round, but saved their best for last as Day Two concluded. Princeton were a combined -6 over the final two holes as Victoria Liu, Olivia Duan, Abra Richmond and Catherine Rao combined for six total birdies over that two-hole span to close the round and widen their lead.
All four of those Tigers ended up even par or better for the second round, led by Liu who was -2. Her big move came on the the 10th hole when she carded an eagle to get two-under. After a bogey on 13, she picked up a birdie on 17 to finish -2 for the round.
Duan was -1 for the second round, scoring a birdie on the last. Richmond was even for the day, with four birdies and four bogeys, She posted back-to-back birdies on 17 and 18 to close her round.
Another Tiger with back-to-back birdies to finish her day was Catherine Rao who had birdies on three of her final six holes to get back to even for the day.
Princeton sits at -2 as a team, with Penn in second at +12 and Columbia third at +13.
Individually, Penn has four players among the top-eight after 36 holes, led by Liu who is -2 and tied for fourth. Duan is one shot back at -1 and in the No. 6 spot. Richmond, who is even for the tournament is in seventh. Rao is in the No. 8 position by herself at +1 overall.
Those Tigers are among a group chasing Harvard's Vanessa Zhang who leads at -9.
The final round starts at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
