Greg Foster Named Ivy Athlete of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – After setting two new PRs this weekend, Greg Foster was Ivy Athlete of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
It is the first weekly award of his career.
At the Virginia Challenge, Foster set a new PR in the long jump, clearing 8.11m/26-7.25" for first place. His mark currently ranks second on the NCAA qualifying list.
While the mark had illegal wind, Foster currently holds the Princeton record in the event with a 2023 mark of 26-1.75".
Having a day, Foster also set a new personal best in the 110mH, clocking in at 13.83 for second at the meet and second all-time in Princeton's record books.
The two-time NCAA qualifier won the Ivy League Championship in the long jump this past indoor season, taking 10th place at nationals.
Foster and the Tigers will be back in action this weekend as they split for the Penn Relays and the TCNJ Lions Invite.
