Men's Track and Field To Kick Off Indoor Season with Penn Opener

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton men's track and field team will begin the 2025-26 indoor season with the Penn Opener on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 5-6.Â
Â
The meet will be held in the Ott Center in Philadelphia, with the multi events beginning Friday and all other events taking place Saturday.Â
Â
The Tigers enter the 2025-26 indoor track season chasing a third-consecutive Ivy League Triple Crown. This Fall, the Tigers continued their streak of success as they won the 2025 Ivy Cross Country Championship.Â

Last year, Princeton completed its 12th all-time and second-consecutive Triple Crown by winning the 2025 Outdoor Heps Championship.Â

In the indoor season, Princeton dominated, claiming the Ivy title by a margin of 85 points. Across the meet, the Tigers had seven individual Ivy Champions and two relay wins.

Of last year's indoor individual champions, four will return in Joe Licata (SP), Greg Foster (LJ), Jackson Clarke (200m) and Joey Gant (400m).

The entire champion 4x400 squad of Kavon Miller, Jonathan York, Karl Dietz, and Xavier Donaldson returns also, alongside Collin Boler of the 4x800 championship team.

The Tigers are led by Jason Vigilante, in his third year at the helm. Since being named the head coach, Vigilante has led the Tigers to two Triple Crowns. He was named the 2025 Outdoor Mid-Atlantic Coach of the Year, and the 2025 Indoor and Outdoor Ivy Coach of the Year.Â
