For the 27th time in program history, Princeton has won the Ivy League Championship as the Tigers bested the field en route to a 17-shot win.
The third and final round of the Championship was suspended during play due to elevated winds, reverting official scores back to where they were after 36 holes. The Tigers were -1 as a group through 36 holes, and won by 17 shots over second place Columbia (+16) and 22 strokes over Harvard who was third at +21.
The win gives the Tigers two in the last three years after also winning the 2023 title, and Princeton has won three of the last five Ivy titles.
The championship for the men follows up an Ivy title won by Princeton's women's team last weekend, marking the fourth time that Princeton has swept the Ivy League men's and women's golf championships (2001, 2004, 2005) and the eighth time overall that an Ivy team claimed both championships.
Riccardo Fantinelli earned individual medalist honors after building a two-shot lead through 36 holes.
All five of Princeton's players were inside the top 15 after two rounds, making the Tigers the only team in the field to make that claim.
Fantinelli is the ninth Ivy Leaguer to win multiple Ivy League championships and fourth Princetonian to do so. He joins Steve Loughran (1981, 1982), Jason Mraz (1987, 1989) and Steve Dana (1993, 1994) as Tigers to win multiple Ivy titles.
