Baseball Falls To Yale In Final Game Of Series

NEW HAVEN, Conn.- The Princeton baseball team faced the Yale Bulldogs in the final game of the series on Monday afternoon. The Tigers fell behind early and were unable to work their way back, dropping the contest by a score of 7-3.
Yale got started early with a four-run burst in the second.
Princeton chipped away with solo home runs by Jake Bold and Jake Koonin. The Tigers added another run in the sixth on a sac fly, but couldn't close the gap.
Yale tacked on two insurance runs in the seventh to increase their lead and pick up the win in the final game of the series.
Princeton will head to Cornell next for a must-win series against the Big Red.
