No. 7 Heavyweight Rowing To Wrap Up Regular Season Against No. 4 Brown

PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 7 Princeton heavyweight rowing team will host its final home regatta of the 2025 season on May 3 at Lake Carnegie when it races No. 4 Brown for the Content Cup.
Last Time Out
In a thrilling race that went down to the wire at the Housatonic River on Apr. 26, the Tigers won the Carnegie Cup over No. 8 Yale and No. 15 Cornell. The 1V (5:34.6) edged Yale (5:36.7) and finished well ahead of Cornell (5:46.3) to earn the Carnegie Cup. The 2V (5:44.6) also prevailed, crossing the finish line in front of the Bulldogs (5:47.0) and the Big Red (5:54.4). Princeton's 3V (5:49.2) won the Tigers' third race of the day, defeating Yale (5:52.2) and Cornell (6:02.9). The Tigers took second in the 4V (5:57.9), with the Bulldogs (5:51.7) picking up the win and the Big Red (6:07.6) coming in third. The 5V (6:14.7) finished third, behind Yale (6:09.0) and Cornell (6:14.7).
Content Cup History
The Content Cup honors Martha Content Joukosky, Brown '58. It is the gift of her family who share the belief in the precept "MENS SANA, IN CORPORE SANO" and celebrates the honor an strength exhibited by the competitors in the annual race between Brown and Princeton's heavyweight crews.

Patrick Long, Theo Bell and Connor Neill were named to the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRCA) 2025 Athlete Watchlist on Apr. 2.
