Davidson and Lucas Collect CWPA Weekly Honors

PRINCETON – Shanna Davidson (Player) and Lindsey Lucas (Defensive Player) earned Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) weekly honors.

Davidson produced five goals, seven assists and five steals as the Tigers went 3-0 in the CWPA weekend. She scored two goals, added an assist and two steals vs. Mercyhurst. She secured two assists, a steal and two drawn ejections in the win over No. 14 Michigan before scoring a hat trick and seven points vs. Saint Francis. This is her third career weekly honor as she collected two Rookie accolades two years ago.

Lucas made 12 saves vs. No. 14 Michigan including a 5M stop with four seconds to go preserve the win. She also had eight stops vs. Saint Francis. It is the 17th time she has picked up a Defensive Player of the Week honor.

Princeton takes on Bucknell Saturday at 2 p.m. The Tigers have won five of six since returning from the Spring Break trip and will clinch the No. 1 seed in the CWPA Tournament with a victory.
