Haven Dora Sets Single-Season Assists Record In 19-13 Win Over #19 Stony Brook

The streak is at double digits!
No. 6 Princeton extended its winning streak to 10 – its longest since the 2019 team won 11 in a row – with a 19-13 win over No. 19 Stony Brook at Sherrerd Field.
After winning all five games of an almost month-long road trip, the Tigers returned to Sherrerd Field and blew open a 9-9 game at halftime with a dominant third quarter en route to the win.
The win came complete with some Princeton history as Haven Dora dished out six assists to become the program's single-season record holder with 42 – surpassing the previous record of 40 set by Dora in 2024 and Kyla Sears in 2019.
The recipient of four of those assists was McKenzie Blake who had an eight-goal, nine-point game while adding six draw controls. Blake, who leads the country in goals-per-game, now has 58 goals in 11 games this season which ranks No. 6 in a season all-time by a Tiger. Blake's charge up the all-time goals chart for Princeton continues as she now has 200 career goals which ranks No. 2 all-time by a Princeton player.
The three-headed offensive monster that is Princeton's attack was in full force as Jami MacDonald also added a nine-point game. She scored five times and dished out four assists to sit one of her career highs in goals, assists and points in a game.
Meg Morrisroe added four goals as the Tigers put up the most goals scored on a Stony Brook team since 2017.
How It Happened

The Tigers won 18 draws in the game, owning a slight 18-17 edge at the circle. Blake and Abigail Roberts led the Tigers with six draw controls each, while Sophie Whiteway had five.Spin Zone!

How It Happened
- Princeton jumped out to a 3-0 lead 4:26 into the game with a pair of goals from McKenzie Blake and one from Meg Morrisroe.
- Stony Brook countered with a three-goal run of its own over a span of 3:22 including two goals from Isabella Caporuscio.
- A pair of extra-woman goals for Stony Brook sandwiched around a Meg Morrisroe goal gave the Seawolves a 5-4 lead with 3:19 left in the first quarter.
- The Tigers got two back before the end of the first quarter as the game was tied 6-6 after one period.
- Haven Dora took over from X in the start to the second quarter, dishing out three assists in the first 4:46 to set the program single-season record and give Princeton a 9-7 lead.
- The Sea Wolves tied the game at 9-9 with 6:04 to play in the first half via back-to-back extra woman goals from Charlotte Wilmoth.
- Princeton ended the half on a 3-0 run with goals from Blake (2x) and Morrisroe to take a 12-9 lead to the break.
- The Tigers held Stony Brook scoreless for 15:55 of game play, turning a 9-9 deadlock into a 14-9 lead before Kylie Budke scored for the Sea Wolves.
- Blake and MacDonald answered with two goals before the end of the third quarter, sending the Tigers to the final period with a 16-10 lead.
- Jami MacDonald added two more at the start of the fourth quarter to extend Princeton's lead to 18-10.
- The Seawolves closed the gap with the next three goals to make it an 18-13 game with 3:42 to play.
- McKenzie Blake slammed the door with her eighth goal of the game with 2.9 seconds to play.
