Princeton Shines at Larry Ellis Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – Enjoying a sunny Spring weekend in Weaver Stadium, the Princeton women's track and field team had a strong showing as they hosted the 2025 Larry Ellis Invitational.
The Tigers excelled in the field event, as Angela McAuslan-Kelly won the hammer throw with a personal-best mark of 64.78m/212-6".
Siniru Iheoma won the discus with a throw of 53.26m/174-9". She also had a podium finish in the shot put with a throw of 14.66m/48-1 ¼" for third.
Georgina Scoot took second in the long jump, clearing 6.32m/20-9".
Alex Kelly took second in the triple jump, with a mark of 12.55m/41-2 ¼".
Madeleine Wood finished fourth in the high jump after clearing 1.7m/5-7 ¼".
In the track events, Mena Scatchard had a standout performance in the 1500, running 4:11.56 - just 0.5 seconds off from her Princeton record.
Hannah Riggins finished second in the elite 800, clocking in at 2:03.24. She was the first collegiate athlete to finish.
Scatchard also took first in the 800, running 2:04.51. Peyton Leigh was just behind her with a time of 2:11.50 for second.
Lucca Fulkerson won the 5000 with a new personal best time of 16:11.61.
Giselle Kirchner took third in the 100 hurdles with a time of 14.02.

Princeton will look to the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships, hosted by Yale, next weekend in New Haven. The program will look to complete its third all-time Triple Crown.
