Fantinelli Advanced To European Amateur Team Championship Semifinals With Italy

Riccardo Fantinelli and Team Italy are through to the semifinals of the 2025 European Amateur Team Championship after a 4.5-2.5 win over France in the quarterfinals of Flight A in Killarney Golf & Fishing Club in Ireland.
The Italians dropped the opening pair of foursomes matches to fall behind, 2-0, but rallied to win four of the five singles matches and halve the fifth.
Fantinelli secured a half point for his team with a halve of his singles match against Hugo Le Goff after suffering a 2&1 defeat in foursomes to open the day.
The semifinals will be July 12 as Team Italy takes on the top seed in Match Play, England.
