Mackenzie Alexander Named To Canadian National Development Team

A stalwart within the Hockey Canada ranks, Mackenzie Alexander has been named to the Hockey Canada's National Development Team ahead of a three-game series with the United States August 13-16 in Lake Placid.
A gold medalist in 2023 at the IIHF World U18 Championships with Canada, Alexander also competed at the U!8 Worlds in 2024 where she was part of the bronze-medal winning team.
This past season, Alexander was a finalist for ECAC Rookie of the Year and was named to the ECAC All-Rookie Team while earning second-team All-Ivy honors after posting 46 points (14 goals, 32 assists) in 32 games.
Three of Alexander's teammates could be on the opposition this coming August as Gabby Kim, Rosie Klein and Emerson O'Leary were all invited to USA Hockey's Selection Camp next week which will ID the skaters for Team USA in the three-game series.
