Scatchard & Scoot Named To GB U23 Team

U23 European Athletics Championships Central
PRINCETON, N.J. – Mena Scatchard and Georgina Scoot of the Princeton University women's university track & field team were named to the British team for the U23 European Athletics Championships.
Scatchard earned selection in the 1,500 meters and Scoot in long jump. The U23 Athletics Championships take place in Bergen, Norway, from July 17-20.
At the U23 British Trials, which ran from June 28-29 at the Cardiff International Sports Campus in Cardiff, Wales, Scatchard finished second in the 1,500 with a time of 4:28.64. Scoot finished fourth in long jump with a mark of 6.11 meters. While she will not compete in the triple jump at the U23 European Athletics Championships, Scoot won the triple jump with a leap of 13.08 meters in Cardiff.
