Men's Cross Country Takes 13th at Gans Creek

COLUMBIA, MO. – With Myles Hogan finishing in the top-20, the Princeton men's cross country team took 13th at the Gans Creek Classic on Friday.
In a field of 32 teams, Princeton took 13th with a score of 410.
Hogan was first across the line for the Tigers, kicking out 11 runners in his final split of the 8k race to take 18th with a time of 23:02.3.
Jacob Nenow also finished in the top-25, taking 23rd place with a time of 23:04.6 after overtaking eight runners in the final split.
Brian Boler was next across the line for Princeton, taking 86th with a time of 23:42.5.
Sebastian Martinez and Connor McCormick rounded out the Tiger scorers in 135th (24:06.3) and 156th (24:14.2), respectively.
Steven Hergenrother and Avery Keith were the Tiger pushers, crossing the line at 24:14.9 and 24:43.0 to take 158th and 196th.
Competing early in the season at the course that will host this year's NCAA Championships, Princeton was able to gain valuable experience and excel while at Gans Creek.
Now, the Tigers will look ahead to October 3rd, when they will head to Bethlehem, Pa. for the Paul Short Run.
