Women's Basketball Climbs To No. 22 In AP Poll
January 12, 2026 | Women's Basketball
PRINCETON – Princeton Women's Basketball climbed to No. 22 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll.
It's the highest ranking since the Tigers were No. 21 in the March 2, 2020 poll. That team finished 26-1 overall and 22nd in the final AP Poll.
Behind a combined 35 points from Ashley Chea and Madison St. Rose, the Tigers took care of business against the Yale Bulldogs, 76-50, at the Lee Amphitheater on Saturday.
A 12-2 sprint to end the third stanza extended Princeton's advantage to 23, 56-33, and the Bulldogs never threatened the rest of the way.
The Tigers are 14-1 overall and on a 12-game winning streak. They sit with a net ranking of 37 with a quad one victory over Villanova and three quad two wins over Rhode Island, Seton Hall and George Mason.
Princeton welcomes Dartmouth (Jan. 17, 2 p.m.) and Harvard (Jan. 19, 2 p.m.) to Jadwin Gym this week.
