January 05, 2026 | Women's Basketball
PRINCETON – The Princeton Women's Basketball Team has jumped one spot to No. 24 in the Associated Press Top 25, the news organization announced.
This is the highest the Tigers have been ranked since the 2023-24 preseason poll (No. 24). Head coach Carla Berube's team rallied in the fourth quarter to drop Penn, 74-68, at the Palestra on Saturday.
A 12-1 run to begin the fourth quarter by the Quakers put them in front, 61-57, with 5:44 to go, but Princeton answered with eight straight including a game-winning triple from Taylor Charles.
Olivia Hutcherson set a new career high with 20 points on 7-of-12 shooting, adding five rebounds, three steals, three assists and two blocks. Madison St. Rose recorded 15 points including her 1,000th career point becoming the 29th Tiger to reach that milestone.
Princeton is 13-1 overall and on a 11-game winning streak with a net ranking of 38, the best among non-power five schools. The Tigers head back on the road to take on Yale next Saturday (Jan. 10). Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
