No. 13 Women's Water Polo Drops Iona, 14-2

PRINCETON – The No. 13 Princeton Women's Water Polo easily handled the Iona Gaels, 14-2, at DeNunzio Pool on Saturday afternoon.
After Iona tied the game at 1-all, Princeton held the Gaels without a goal for over 19 minutes of game action, ripping seven straight tallies during that stretch. The Tigers finished off the contest with six straight and pitched a shutout over the final 11:21 of the contest.
Shanna Davidson, Ally Lurie and Kendall Wyer each recorded hat tricks for the Tigers while Lindsey Lucas made five stops in the victory.
The 9-0 Tigers head on the road to take on Villanova Thursday before beginning CWPA action at Bucknell on Saturday.
