No. 16 Women's Water Polo Honors Seniors With Two Wins

PRINCETON – The No. 16 Princeton Women's Water Polo earned two CWPA victories at DeNunzio Pool on Saturday afternoon.
No. 16 Princeton 9, No. 10 Michigan 8
After a scoreless first quarter, the two conference foes exchanged four goals before Olivia Krotts' gave the Tigers a 3-2 lead heading into halftime.
Michigan tied the game to begin the second half. Even at 4-all, Kendall Wyer put head coach Derek Ellingson's team ahead as the final 10 minutes started.
The Wolverines did not go away as they tied the game twice, making it 6-6 with five minutes remaining.
Vivian Golub registered consecutive tallies to put Princeton in front for good.
Michigan got one back, but Emese Batizi responded to keep the road team at bay.
Michigan closed the gap to one with 1:52 to go, but Princeton kept its conference foe off the scoreboard the rest of the way.
Princeton handed Michigan its first conference loss of the season. The Tigers had four different players score two goals in Krotts, Batizi, Golub and Wyer. Lindsey Lucas had 11 saves in the victory.

No. 16 Princeton 18, Saint Francis 10
The Tigers' offense started off fast, ripping off four of the first five goals before holding a 4-2 advantage after eight minutes.
Saint Francis made a run, cutting the deficit to one, 5-4, as the clock read 6:06 to go in the first half. The Red Flash would not score until the 2:07 mark of the third quarter, a stretch of 19:53. During that time, the Tigers registered nine consecutive goals to go up 14-4.
Princeton led by as many as 10 before settling with an 18-10 victory.
Shanna Davidson and Charlotte Riches each snagged four goals each to lead the offense for the Tigers.
Prior to the game, the Tigers honored the Class of 2026 in Davidson, Lucas and Ava Houlahan. That trio has won 94 games during their time with the Orange and Black and have gone 34-4 in the CWPA, adding two conference titles.
Princeton finishes off the regular season vs. No. 21 Wagner on Apr. 1 and No. 18 Marist on Apr. 2.
