No. 12 Women's Water Polo Finishes Regular Season This Week

PRINCETON – The No. 12 Princeton Women's Water Polo Team finishes the regular season with two top-25 matchups this week.
The Tigers welcome the No. 21 Wagner Seahawks to DeNunzio Pool on Wednesday (6:30 p.m.) before heading to the No. 18 Marist Red Foxes on Thursday (7 p.m.).
Head coach Derek Ellingson's crew is 20-5 this season and finished the conference portion of the season at 5-1 overall. If Harvard defeats Brown on Saturday, the Crimson will be the No. 1 seed in the CWPA Tournament while Princeton will be the No. 2 seed. If Brown wins, the Tigers will earn the No. 1 spot.
Princeton has seven ranked victories including decisions over Wagner and Marist. Ellingson's unit rallied after a three-goal deficit to take down No. 22 Marist, 14-9 on Jan. 31 before earning a 12-10 win over No. 21 Wagner on Feb. 1.
Shanna Davidson is having a career season during her senior campaign, producing a team-best and personal-high 59 goals and 49 steals while contributing a career-high 42 assists, a team-high 22 sprint wins and 21 blocks. She has also earned three CWPA Player of the Week honors.
Olivia Krotts has more than doubled her career goal total, contributing 52 this season and leads the squad with 56 drawn ejections. Didi Evans paces the offense in scoring with 40 goals and 71 assists, 10 shy of the program record set by Rachael Carver in 2025. Ava Houlahan is one goal of shy of her personal high with 40 overall. Other top goal scorers include Vivian Golub (36), Charlotte Riches (35), and Kendall Wyer (28).
Lindsey Lucas is 15-5 in the cage with 197 saves and a .566 save percentage.
