Women's Tennis Spring Break California Trip Begins Against Fresno State
March 09, 2026 | Women's Tennis
Princeton (9-1) vs. Fresno State (7-4)
Tuesday, March 10 • at Cal Poly • San Luis Opispo, Calif.
3 pm Eastern/noon Pacific
What's better than a Spring Break trip to California with two matches for the Princeton women's tennis team? How about a Spring Break trip to California with three matches?
Princeton flew to California after midterms with an addition to the schedule, leaving the Tigers with three matches in a five-day stretch, one that begins this afternoon (3 Eastern, noon Pacific) against Fresno State at Cal Poly in San Luis Opispo. Princeton will then play Cal Poly Thursday.
Those two were supposed to be Princeton's only matches on this trip, before an additional opportunity to schedule another opponent came up with the team's cancellation at Penn State two weeks ago. That spot has been filled with a match Saturday at Loyola Marymount.
Princeton is currently ranked 37th in Division I, with No. 1 singles player Alice Ferlito at No. 90 and the doubles team of Bella Chhiv and Eva Elbaz at No. 84. The Tigers are 9-1 overall as they head into the three matches in California.
