Justin Bradley Named Men’s Basketball Assistant Coach

PRINCETON, N.J. – Franklin C. Cappon-Edward C. Green '40 Head Coach Mitch Henderson announced the addition of the Justin Bradley to the Princeton university men's basketball team's staff as an assistant coach Tuesday. Bradley joins the Tigers from Loyola-Chicago, where he served as an assistant coach since 2023.
"We're excited to add Justin to our staff," said Henderson. "He's built strong experience across levels, most recently in the A-10 at Loyola -Chicago, and he has a rare ability to connect with people and make those around him better."
Bradley has proven to be one of the nation's top young basketball coaches and was a 2025 Silver Waves Media NXT Up luncheon invitee. He was also named to Silver Waves Media's Most Impactful Mid Major D1 Assistant Coaches list in 2022, 2023 and 2024. In addition, he was a 2023 a Jay Bilas Coaches Leadership program attendee while in 2022 and 2023 he attended TopConnect, a consortium for the nation's top assistant coaches. Bradley was also named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) 30-under-30 team in 2018.

At Loyola-Chicago, Bradley helped the Ramblers win the Atlantic 10 regular season title in 2024. He was part of a staff that guided Loyola-Chicago to NIT appearances and back-to-back 20-win seasons in 2024 and 2025. In 2025 the Ramblers made it to the NIT semifinals and won a program record 17 home games, posting a 25-12 overall record. Jayden Dawson (Second Team) and Miles Rubin (All-Defensive) were all-conference honorees in 2024, with Rubin setting the single-season program record in blocks (85) and field goal percentage (.714), while Sheldon Edwards Jr. set a new single-season three-pointers made record of 106.
2023-24 saw Bradley play a role in turning the Ramblers around, increasing the team's win total by 12. Loyola-Chicago recorded a 15-3 record in the Atlantic 10, won a share of the regular season title and made the NIT.
Prior to Loyola-Chicago, Bradley was an assistant at Seattle University during the 2022-23 season, where he helped Seattle earn its highest end of year NET ranking in program history.
Not a stranger to the Ivy League, Bradley joined Dartmouth's staff ahead of the 2018-19 season and was elevated to Associate Head Coach before the 2020-21 season. Bradley coached several All-Ivy players while on staff with the Big Green including Chris Knight (Second Team twice), Dame Adelekun (Second Team) Brendan Barry (Second Team) and Aaryn Rai (Honorable Mention).
From 2016-18, Bradley was an assistant at Williams College and helped the Ephs advance to the NCAA DIII Final Four in 2017 and finish both seasons ranked No. 5 in the nation. Bradley was involved in all aspects of the recruiting process at Williams, assisting in game preparation and strategy while overseeing the player development for perimeter players. Three players were named All-New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) during his time at Williams, including 2018 Player of the Year and Second Team All-American James Heskett.
Bradley's first stint at Dartmouth took place in 2015-16, and for the two seasons before that he served as the Director of Basketball Operations at North Carolina Central. At NC Central, the Eagles posted a combined record of 54-13 and 31-1 in Mid-Eastern Atlantic Conference (MEAC) play, advancing to the NCAA Tournament in 2014 and the NIT in 2015.
Bradley graduated with B.S. in Political Science from Guilford College in 2013, where he was a player and student coach of the Quaker basketball team that went 81-31 during his four years there and made it to the DIII Final Four his freshman season. In July 2016, Bradley completed his master's degree in athletic administration from NCCU.
