At Princeton since 2004, Clif Perry serves as the Equipment Manager. Perry came to Princeton from the United States Naval Academy where he served as an intern in the equipment room from 2003-2004 and before that, he was a teacher, coach and equipment manager in both public and private schools in Palm Beach County, FL from 1993-2003. During those years, Perry taught classes in health, personal fitness, and physical education. His coaching responsibilities included football, basketball, and baseball.
Perry has been a certified member of the Athletic Equipment Manager's Association since 2003. He is currently Director of the AEMA District 1 and serves on the national board of directors. He is chairman of the national scholarship committee and responsible for coordinating the children's hospital donations and visit each year at the national convention. Perry has been recognized by his peers as the District 1 Equipment Manager of the Year three times (2007, 2010, & 2012) and was recently recognized as the 2012 Glenn Sharpe Award Winner as the National Equipment Manager of the Year. Perry is a frequent speaker at the state, regional, and national level on topics such as "Helmet and Shoulder Pad Fitting", "Inventory Controls", "Surviving an Audit", and "Revamping Your Equipment Room".
He is active in the St. Baldrick’s Foundation (which has raised almost $1.5 million), shaving his head for 12 years to raise money to help find a cure for childhood cancer.
Clif has been married to his wife Jennifer for over 25 years. They have two daughters, Hope and Hayden, and reside in Lawrenceville.
