Carlino's first season with Princeton was in 2019.
During the 2019 season that Princeton go 16-5 overall, the Tigers registered a 13-game winning streak which was the program's second longest streak ever. Princeton went on to win the Ivy League title and reach the National Championship Game for the fourth time ever. The Tigers had three All-Americans, five All-Regional players and seven All-Ivy selections. The coaching staff was also named Spiideo/NFHCA Mid-Atlantic Region Coaching Staff of the Year.
Carlino came to Princeton after spending three seasons at Bucknell. During her time with the Bison, she organized training sessions and led all goalkeeping instruction while assisting with recruiting at major tournaments. Bucknell went 29-27 during her three years there including a trip to the 2018 Patriot League title game.

Carlino is a graduate of Massachusetts (2016) with a degree in environmental science. She was a two-time captain with the field hockey squad and was the starting goalkeeper all four years while coached by Carla Tagliente. She collected two all-conference honors and was named NFHCA second-team All-Region as a sophomore. UMass won three Atlantic 10 titles highlighted by a trip to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

The assistant’s other coaching experience includes camps at Trinity College and West Chester University, with the USA Field Hockey Futures, and with Element Athletics.

Carlino has represented her country on the international stage with USA Field Hockey. She is the starting goalkeeper for the U.S. national indoor team and helped the team win gold at the 2017 Pan Am Cup.
