Chris Zarkoskie, a 2013 New Hampshire graduate, is in his second year on the Princeton staff.
The 2021 season saw Princeton go 9-1 and earn an Ivy League title, its third in five seasons. The Tigers had 16 All-Ivy selections including 10 first-team honorees, a program record. The offense ranked first in the Ivy League in scoring (33.4), second in passing offense (265.5), second in passing efficiency (147.0) and third in total offense (392.4).
He has previous Ivy League coaching experience after spending the 2018 season at Brown, and he most recently was the offensive line coach at Lehigh for the 2019 season. Zarkoskie spent three years coaching tight ends at his alma mater before his year at Brown, where he coached the offensive line.
As a player Zarkoskie was a strong student-athlete, with major honors in both. He was a three-year starter, as well as an All-CAA selection and team captain as a senior. He also won the league's first Chuck Boone Awards for "embodying the highest standards of leadership, integrity, teamwork and sportsmanship in his academic and athletic achievements."
A psychology major, he was both a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-District selection and a two-time member of the FCS ADA Academic All-Star Team as a player, and he earned CAA Academic All-Conference Team honors and received the CAA Commissioner's Academic Award three straight years (2010-12).
