2012 - one of top two shortstick defensive midfielders ... had goals against Rutgers and Syracuse
2011 - missed most of the season with ankle sprain, broken arm and concussion ... played shortstick defensive midfield when healthy

Lettered two times in lacrosse and two times in basketball. Lacrosse: Two time all league. All State senior year. Basketball: Essex County All Defensive Team, senior year. Started on conference champion and state semifinalist basketball team senior year.School: Spanish Honor Society. National Honor Society. Essex County Scholar Athlete Award. Monsignor Thomas J. Tuohy Medallion for 4.0 gpa over four years. Coaches Award for Outstanding Senior Athlete. Graduated with First Honors.
PersonalBorn September 29, 1991. Son of Laura and James Fernandez, Father graduated from Princeton University in 1982, and lettered four years in lacrosse as a defenseman. Owns and manages a metal fabricating business. Mother graduated Georgetown University, is a pediatric ICU nurse, and has an M.A. from New York University. Younger sister Isabella is currently a freshman at Princeton University and competed at Penn Relays in high school. Younger sister Annaliese is a sophomore at Kent Place High School and plays basketball and lacrosse. Younger brother Lucas is six years old, attends first grade, plays basketball and baseball and is an avid fan of Princeton Lacrosse.
