At Princeton — 2015: rowed in the 4V at the Eastern Sprints and helped the boat to a victory in the petite final … competed in the 4V for most of the regular season, which included a home victory over Harvard. 2014: led the 3V to a fourth-place finish at the Eastern Sprints while rowing in the bow… reached the grand final at the IRA Championships as well; it was the first 3V grand final at IRAs since 2011.

Before Princeton — competed twice for Great Britain at the Junior World Championships; placed sixth in the 4+ (2011) and won bronze in the 8+ (2012) … rowed two years in Radley College varsity eight and named Captain of Boats during second year … reached semifinal at Henley Royal Regatta and made finals at the Princess Elizabeth Cup … won two bronze medals at the National Schools Regatta … rowed in the Great Britain vs. France match in 2010.

Personal — born July 9th, 1994 … son of Simon and Melanie Shaw … has two younger sisters, Rosanna and Madeleine … grandfather rowed in the 1960 Olympics, as well as The Boat Race … enjoys skiing, sailing and traveling.
