Philip “Hutch” Collins - graduated from College of the Holy Cross in 2023. Having grown up in Jersey, he rowed at The Lawrenceville School and Mercer.
He is beginning his coaching career here as a member of the Princeton Heavyweights coaching staff.
Collins helped lead the Tigers to an incredibly successful 2026 season and was named to the Ivy League Coaching Staff of the Year. Collins was part of a staff that guided the Tigers to a second-place finish in the Ten Eyck standings at the IRA National Championships along with a gold medal for the 2V, its first since 1998, and bronze medals for the 1V and 3V. At Eastern Sprints, Collins helped guide Princeton a Rowe Cup victory for most team points and gold medals for the 2V, 3V, 4V, and 5V along with silvers for the 1V and the 4+.
