Before Princeton: Played four years of varsity soccer at Lakeside School ... was captain his junior and senior years ...finished his career with 31 goals and 21 assists ... was named first-team all-state as a senior as he scored 16 goals and added 10 assists ... Lakeside was state champion in 2014 and Metro League champions in 2012, 2013 and 2014 ... also competed on the varsity cross country team for four years and was captain his senior year.
Personal: Full name is Gabriel Preston Joseph ... son of Anthony and April Joseph, who both attended Middlebury ... named Knight-Hennessy Scholar in Feb. 2018.
