- Assistant Coach
Jen Lapicki joined the Princeton softball staff as an assistant coach in August 2012.
Lapicki competed at Florida State and Tennessee and in 2012 was an assistant coach at Iona.
"Jen is a passionate coach with the kind of playing experience and success that will undoubtedly make our team and program stronger," Princeton head coach Lisa Sweeney said upon Lapicki's hiring. "Her genuineness and dedication to the game comes through immediately. She is eager to get started and we are fortunate to have her joining the Princeton family."
While at Iona, Lapicki helped Iona claim a MAAC championship and an NCAA tournament berth in 2012.
While at Tennessee in 2008 and 2009, Lapicki earned Southeastern Conference All-Freshman Team honors while serving as the Lady Vols' primary first baseman in both seasons. As a sophomore, she was named to ESPN The Magazine's Third-Team Academic All-America.
Lapicki transferred to Florida State for her final two seasons in 2010 and 2011, starting for the Seminoles in both campaigns and leading the team in batting average (.343) as a freshman. Lapicki's teams went to the NCAA tournament in all four seasons between Tennessee and Florida State.
Lapicki earned her bachelors degree in sport management from Florida State in 2011, graduating with Latin honors, before beginning work on her masters degree in business while at Iona. A native of Oldwick, N.J., Lapicki prepped at Immaculata High School in Somerset, N.J.
