Carrie Moore finished her third season as an assistant coach and fifth year with Princeton in 2018-19.
In the 2018-19 campaign, the Tigers (22-10) secured the Ivy League regular season and tournament championships for the second straight year. Bella Alarie was honored as the Ivy Player of the Year for the second consecutive season while Carlie Littlefield was first team All-Ivy. Alarie became the second Tiger (Niveen Rasheed ‘13) to be named Ivy Player of the Year in back-to-back seasons and the fifth Tiger to be picked first-team All-Ivy three times.
During that season, the Tigers were one of the best in the country in free-throw percentage (seventh, 78.0), blocked shots (15th, 166) and blocked shots per game (16th, 5.2).
The 2017-18 season saw Princeton (24-6) take home the Ivy League crown and Ivy Tournament title. Bella Alarie earned Ivy Player of the Year and first-team All-Ivy while Leslie Robinson picked up first team honors.

During that Ivy championship run, the Tigers were one of the best in the country in scoring defense (13th, 55.1), blocked shots per game (29th, 4.9), scoring margin (29th, +12.5), field-goal percentage (30th, 36.8), rebounding margin (32nd, +6.6) and free-throw percentage (38th, 75.2).
In 2016-17, the Princeton Tigers reached the postseason for the eighth straight season as they received a bid to the WNIT. The team finished second in the Ivy League during the regular season and advanced to the Ivy League Tournament Championship Game. Alarie was honored as the Ivy League Rookie of the Year, All-Ivy League first team and Ivy League All-Tournament team. Robinson was named to the All-Ivy League second team and Ivy League All-Tournament team.
Moore was an assistant coach at Creighton University from 2010-2015. The Bluejays made post-season appearances in all five years —including back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances for the first time in program history (2012 and 2013).
Prior to her move to Omaha, Moore spent two seasons as the director of basketball operations at Princeton. She was part of the program’s first NCAA Tournament appearance in 2009-10, as the Tigers went 26-3 on the season, including 14-0 in Ivy League play.
Moore was a four-year letterwinner at Western Michigan University under Coach Ron Stewart. She amassed 2,216 points during her career, scoring 813 of those points during her senior season. The school’s fifth All-America selection, Moore set nine school records and four Mid-American Conference records. In 2007 in a game versus Central Michigan, she became WMU’s all-time leading scorer with her 2,062nd point.
She is the only Mid-American Conference women’s basketball player to capture the NCAA scoring crown, averaging 25.4 points per game during her senior season. She led the nation in the stat category from start to finish. Moore was named first-team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District, second-team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America and was a nominee for the Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award. Moore also earned the 2007 MAC Player of the Year award.
After graduation, Moore signed as a free agent with the Phoenix Mercury of the WNBCA before signing a professional contract with KSSSE AZA PWSZ Gorzow Wielkopolski in Gorzow, Poland for the Polish Professional Women’s Basketball League (PLLK).
A native of Lathrup Village, Mich., Moore graduated from WMU magna cum laude with a journalism degree in 2007.
