Yan Liu, an LPGA teaching professional, joined the Princeton women's golf team during the 2011-12 season as a volunteer assistant coach.
Liu has spent more than 20 years working in the sport, including more than a decade teaching the game. In the 1990s, Liu was a voice talent for The Golf Channel while also serving as an international liaison for the China Golf Association, managing and traveling with national teams competing in international tournaments. Liu is a graduate of the San Diego Golf Academy and worked at several clubs in northern California before relocating to New Jersey.
Liu, an alumna of Beijing University who also has an associates degree in golf complex management, holds a Class A teaching professional certification from the LPGA and is currently teaching at Cranbury Golf Club in West Windsor, N.J.
