Erika Moyer joined the Princeton Athletics staff in March 2021 as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning coach overseeing women’s open rowing, heavyweight rowing, women’s lightweight rowing, men’s lightweight rowing and men’s & women’s golf.
Moyer served from 2019 to 2021 as the head strength and conditioning coach and Physical Education Director at Hood College. She was the Blazers' first strength and conditioning coach and was responsible for all 22 of Hood's athletic offerings.
Prior to Hood, Moyer served as the head strength and conditioning coach at Goucher College from 2018-2019.
She began her strength and conditioning career at Swarthmore College where she spent almost two years as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. At Swarthmore, Moyer developed specific strength & conditioning programs for six different teams, while also teaching physical education classes to Swarthmore students, among other duties
Moyer, who earned a Master of Science degree in exercise science and injury prevention from California (Pa.) in 2019, earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Mansfield in 2013 in sports nutrition & dietetics. While at Mansfield, Moyer earned four letters in women's soccer, where she earned third-team All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference accolades in 2012 while serving as team captain.
Moyer also holds the following certifications: Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA), USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach Level 1 (USAW), and CPR/AED/First Aid (American Red Cross).
