Claire Jacobson was a second-team All-Southern selection as a junior following a 30-goal season. Jacobson ranked third on the team in scoring and added 11 assists and 36 steals while drawing 40 ejections. Jacobson scored three goals on five occasions during the season, including strong outings against San Diego State, Pacific and George Washington.
Jacobson scored eight goals and added five assists in the final 16 games of her sophomore season after injuries held her out of the lineup. She had a pair of two-goal games on the season, both times in wins over George Washington. She scored 13 goals in her freshman season and added six assists and 11 steals. Jacobson scored two goals in her first game and added three goals against Cal State Monterey Bay. She scored four goals during Princeton’s ECAC tournament win.
Jacobson began playing water polo her freshman year of high school, where she lettered all four years in water polo and swimming. She was a three-time first-team all-league selection for water polo and a four-time first-team all-league selection for swimming. In 2004 and 2005 she was a second-team all-CIF player. Her senior year, she broke the career- and single-season records for goals at SLOHS with 269 overall and 126 in one season.
