Grace du Pont appeared in 13 games for the Tigers in goal, making five starts. She was 5-1 overall and stopped 90 shots at a .652 save percentage. Du Pont made 10 or more saves on four occasions and had a high of 13 in a win over Villanova. She also stopped 11 shots in a win over St. Francis and 10 each in two wins over George Washington. Du Pont added three assists and four steals from her position with assists coming against George Washington, Cal State San Bernardino and Villanova, and steals against Wagner, Hartwick, Villanova and GW. Bowles was named to the ACWPC and CWPA All-Academic teams.
Du Pont transitioned from a field player to a goalie as a sophomore and played in 12 games, posting a 2-1 record and a .559 save percentage. She started the first two games of the season for the Tigers and made 10 saves in each, a win over Gannon and a loss to Michigan. She added a pair of assists in the Gannon win. She also earned a start later in the season against George Washington and stopped 11 shots in a Princeton win.
Du Pont made seven appearences in the field during her freshman season at Princeton. Du Pont appeared in the season’s first two games, wins over Mercyhurst and Villanova, and also played against Colorado State, Concordia, Whittier, George Washington and Indiana.
Du Pont came to Princeton as a three-year varsity letterwinner in water polo at Phillips Exeter Academy. There she served as the team’s captain as a senior and helped the team to a third-place finish in New England.
