Karina Reyner ranked second on the Princeton roster in scoring with 32 goals as a junior, leading to her being named second-team All-Southern and second-team All-Eastern. Reyner tallied goals or assists in 22 of 26 games during the season. She had matched her career-high of four goals in a game twice, in wins against Villanova and Maryland. Reyner completed the season with an 11-game goal scoring streak.
Reyner earned AWPCA All-Academic Team honors following a 16 goal season. She also added four assists and 28 steals. Reyner tallied a four goals in a win over Maryland and added three goals in Princeton’s Eastern’s win over Brown. Reyner finished her rookie year with 20 goals, 13 assists and 20 steals.
She was the MVP of her high school water polo team in 2001 and 2003 and of her swim team from 2001-2003. She was a member of the Southeast Zone water polo team from 2000-2003 and played on the Youth National Team in 2001-02. Reyner earned first-team all-county and all-state honors as a senior.
