Had a 13-14 record on the season, at 157 and 165, competing at the Princeton Open, Navy Classic, and all thirteen dual matches ... a 2023-24 wrestling captain ... went 5-1 at the Princeton Open ... 3-2 at the Navy Classic ... had a win over No. 25 Anthony White of Rutgers ... 4-9 in duals

2022-23
Had a 7-5 record on the season, all at 165, competing at the Bearcat Open, in four November and December dual matches, and at the Midlands Championships ... went 3-2 at the Bearcat Open .. had wins over wrestlers from Indiana, Michigan State and Rutgers in duals, defeating InterMat No. 32-ranked Caleb Fish of Michigan State, an eventual NCAA quarterfinalist, in one of those duals ... went 1-2 at Midlands.

2021-22
Earned the spot at 165 in Princeton's EIWA lineup, going 1-2 at the meet ... had a 6-4 record on the season, getting wins in the dual-match lineup against Columbia, Rider and Rutgers ... competed at the MatMen Open, going 1-2.

Before Princeton: Bergey had a 177-13 record in high school, winning two Georgia state titles and making the state finals all four times. Bergey was a champion at the Kansas City Stampede, a two-time champion at the Mount Mat Madness event, and was an NHSCA Academic All-American.
