2024-25 captain … Princeton Open champion, going 4-0 at the tournament … went 5-3 in duals … went 2-2 at Midlands … ranked as high as 27th nationally … ranked win over #32 Anthony D’Alesio … posted an overall record of 12-7, all at 184.
2023-24
Had a 11-14 record on the season all at 174 ... competed in 11 dual matches with a 4-7 record ... placed 5th at the Princeton Open ... placed 3rd at the Navy classic going 3-1
2021-22
Opened the season with a 2-1 record at the Southeast Open ... was part of the team's dual-match lineup at Iowa and Rutgers ... competed at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, going 0-2 ... had a 2-5 record on the season.
2020-21
Season canceled due to COVID-19.
Before Princeton: Squires was a New York state finalist in 2019 and 2020, won a freestyle state title in 2019, and was a placewinner all four years and twice in freestyle competition. He was also a four-time sectional champion, a four-time conference champion, a four-time New York State Scholar-Athlete, and a three-time state captain while going 177-28 in high school. He was also a three-time placewinner at the Eastern States meet.
Personal: Son of Michael and Jamie Squires ... has a sister, Lauren ... computer science major.
